Very surprisingly, by using 2 different books of daily devotional, today's ODB message answered the question in my BLOG yesterday (which I read the other book)! PTL !
Todays' reading in Mark 3:13-19 recorded how Jesus hand-picked His 12 apostles. Those 12 guys were all imperfect men, yet the Lord did not look at what they were but what they could be. The author used an example of picking a pot of rose. We do not look at the blossoms or full grown roses on the plant, but how many healthy rosebuds are there ready to bloom!

Jesus look at our lives the same way. Through the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, He nurtures us and transforms us to the image of Himself - the Perfect Lord ! .... only if we let Him.
